Zopto, like Jobin, automates LinkedIn lead generation and both save a lot of time for any marketers, sales persons and recruiters.
With Zopto you should be using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to perform the search and you need to cut and paste the Linkedin URL. The same operation is possible with Jobin but just clicking on a 'start import' button. Furthermore, Jobin also offers a selection of quantities and a useful possibility to assign tags, notes and assign that group of prospects directly into a pipeline.
Zopto uses remote cloud servers to log into your LinkedIn account on your behalf and this is the reason why Zopto asks you for your LinkedIn credentials.
Jobin does not ask you for any password and does not login on your social media account on your behalf. Instead, it is your own browser that performs operations taking commands from a plug-in.
These two approaches have their advantages and disadvantages.
Advantage of Jobin is that you have full control and ownership of your account. The receiving servers (LinkedIn) believe that it is you (your own browser) performing the operations, especially if the timing, randomness and pace resemble that of a human being.
The disadvantage is that you need to keep your browser turned on to allow functionality.
However, when this is done correctly, this is undetectable. Then, Jobin applies techniques and technologies that go far beyond. That is safe.
With Zopto you do not need your browser turned on, because it's a remote machine that logs into your LinkedIn account on your behalf. However, by doing this, Zopto puts your social account in a slightly awkward situation where LinkedIn sees you logging in from different locations (IPs) and different devices (from your machine and from the Zopto data center) 😨 Platforms like LinkedIn are particularly "nervous" about this behavior and double logins are easier to identify. You should be extremely careful with this usage to keep your own account safe from restrictions and bans.
In Zopto you need to find a leads' list and insert it into your messaging campaign to send connection invitations and personalized messages.
That messaging campaign is the center of attention. Leads are not seen individually in Zopto,
you get global campaign statistics with open rate percentages.
In Zopto you have no profiles of your prospects.
In Jobin you have a "people-centered" database and not a "campaign-centered" one.
This means that you have your own contact list and assign the selected ones to your custom campaigns.
If, for example, after a few months, you re-select some of them and assign them to a new messaging campaign, you will always have a full history of the complete journey, their comments and reactions along several kind of interactions and complete records across different campaigns.
This will allow you to build long lasting relationships with your prospects and clients.
After these considerations we could say that Zopto, it is nice to manage single outreach campaigns, and Jobin is better when you are also interested in long term relationship with your audience by sending one or more campaigns and keeping track of complex and long term interactions with your prospects who may be clients now or may have changed their careers.
Last but not least difference, is that in Jobin you have a real LinkedIn Limits Bypass for connection requests and
you are free to activate it or not.
With Zopto you must be under the 100 invitations per week.
On the Zopto campaign report page, you will see how many people have reacted to your messages (e.g. they have replied) but being all campaign-focused you don't see that list of people individually. You can only see the statistic and percentages of the global campaign .
In Jobin you will be able to see each group of people participating in your campaign and who is
in each particular stage of your campaign.
It will then be possible to browse the list of people who replied, people who ignored the message and so on.
Again, this is possible because Jobin is people-centric and focuses on building relationships, so Jobin will give you the ability to select those sub-lists of people and re-message them later in a new opportune way. This will show that you take care of people's replies and don't act like a bot.
Both Zopto and Jobin have some sort of throttling system to regulate requests and manage the gradual increase of LinkedIn activity.
In Zopto there is a remote server doing the work so LinkedIn will see your own browser logging in plus another login from the Zopto data center which will be throttled but ... always two logins 🙄.
The throttling of Jobin is applied to your own browser activity, so there's your clicking, plus a few other virtual fingers under control.
Jobin is made to serve the Recruiting processes as well and that is why here you will find complete profiles with a fully detailed career history. In jobin you will find functions to bulk update the professional status of a selection of people and automatic synchronization based on their LinkedIn profiles.
This means that with Jobin you have everything you need to perform detailed profiling and pre-screening of your prospects.
In Zopto, the profiles of people are just name, surname and company and basically not much can be done because they are simply lists to be attached to a campaign. Furthermore, Zopto has a limit of 2500 profiles for each campaign.
Zopto is integrated with Hyperize which allows you to compose nice images with texton it and which can be attached to your messages to make them much more engaging. The customization of that is excellent and such images are much more engaging than plain text.
An interesting feature of Zopto is that it allows you to give a like to the last Twitter post of your lead. This could increase the possibility to engage with that person. Of course, the Twitter account isn't always available, but that is another issue.
However, for Zopto the campaign is a sequence with a list of option actions to turn on/off as preferred.
In case of Jobin the customization could be more advanced and includes custom delays and conditional event handlers.
Jobin is an all-in-one package with multiple modular solutions to find, screen and outreach people.
These solutions are always available with a Free plan but can be upgraded any time independently
with quick purchase requests based on your needs.
If you stop paying you can still enjoy a usable Free version that keeps all your data available and has several features
that may be enough for some small business or casual use.
There is also the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade single solution packages including the FREE plans, to follow your current needs and be ready for future expansion of your business.
Zopto is only useful for LinkedIn messaging automation and not for any list management, nor for prospecting.
Jobin has an excellent LinkedIn messaging automation and a long list of additional features for sourcing, pre-screening and outreach.
The cost for this single functionality in Zopto is high compared to what Jobin offers, which is also partly on the Free plan.
Zopto does not offer any free plan and you need to purchase other software tools as well to have a fully functional system for your business.
It seems that deciding between Jobin or Zopto is a no-brainer 😄
